3. No Guarantee of Accuracy
Important: Hirewall provides informational assessments only. We do not guarantee:
- 100% accuracy in scam detection
- Detection of all scam attempts (false negatives may occur)
- That all flagged emails are actually scams (false positives may occur)
You are solely responsible for your decisions regarding emails and job opportunities. Hirewall is a tool to assist your judgment, not replace it.
4. Account Registration
To use Hirewall, you must:
- Create an account with a valid email address
- Provide accurate and complete information
- Maintain the security of your account credentials
- Be at least 18 years old
5. Subscription and Payments
Hirewall offers free and paid subscription tiers:
- Free: Limited daily scans with basic features
- Pro ($5/month): Unlimited scans and enhanced features
- Shield ($10/month): All features including priority support
Paid subscriptions are billed monthly. You may cancel at any time, and your subscription will remain active until the end of the billing period. Refunds are provided at our discretion.
6. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use Hirewall for any unlawful purpose
- Attempt to reverse engineer or exploit our systems
- Submit false scam reports intentionally
- Share your account with others
- Use automated systems to access our service beyond normal use
- Interfere with or disrupt our services
7. Intellectual Property
Hirewall and its contents, including software, design, and documentation, are owned by us and protected by intellectual property laws. You may not copy, modify, or distribute our materials without permission.
8. User Content and Reports
When you submit scam reports, you grant us a license to use that information to improve our service and protect other users. You represent that your reports are accurate to the best of your knowledge.
9. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Hirewall is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind
- We are not liable for any damages arising from your use of our service
- We are not liable for losses resulting from scams, whether detected or not
- Our total liability shall not exceed the amount you paid us in the past 12 months
10. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Hirewall and its affiliates from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of our service or violation of these terms.
11. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your account if you violate these terms. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings.
12. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify you of significant changes. Continued use after changes constitutes acceptance of the new terms.
13. Governing Law
These terms are governed by the laws of the United States. Any disputes shall be resolved in the courts of Massachusetts.
